Many donate to People's Care Fund Lamlai

Imphal, May 19 2021:
Political activist, Sapam Kangleipal Meitei donated one lakh rupees to initiate the activities of People's Care Fund Lamlai.
A statement of Lamlai Mapari Thougal Lup said that People's Care Fund Lamlai have been formed with an aim to fight against the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic effectively in Lamlai Assembly Constituency and for speedy development of economy for the locals of Lamlai.
Speaking on the occasion, Sapam Kangleipal stressed on the need for collective efforts to fight against the deadly pandemic and simultaneously strive for a developed economy to build a strong base for the future generation.
Further he asserted to build a hospital in Lamlai by 2023 to cater to the medical needs of the locals effectively and to provide best treatments at an affordable cost.
Founder secretary of Emmanuel English Academy, Yaingangpokpi, Salam Sundar, social worker Waikhom Rakesh, Ningombam Chanu Premila and former pradhan of Pungdongbam also donated to People's Care Fund Lamlai.
The Fund will extend best possible help to those who are undergoing Covid treatments and to Village level Home Isolation Center opened by local clubs, meira paibis and village development committees.
