Imphal, June 23 2011: To ensure corruption free governance and minimal law and order problems, it is imperative to force the O Ibobi-led Government to change its way of administration, asserted BJP State unit president Sh Shantikumar.

As a part of the BJP's four-day long nationwide agitation against corruption and stashing black money in foreign countries, the party's State unit staged a protest demonstration in the party's office premises at Nityaipat Chuthek today.

The protest demonstration led by party president Sh Shantikumar was participated by many party leaders and workers.

They also chanted slogans like "Eradicate corruption from India", "Bring back black money to India", Punish black marketeers" etc.

Speaking at the protest site, Shantikumar stated that level of corruption is uncannily high with almost all the Govt Depts infected by this scourge.

Such rampant corruption in every sector of the State administration has a direct bearing on the State's law and order situation.

"If we wish to abolish corruption and create a secure environment, Chief Minister O Ibobi and his Govt must change the way they are ruling the State", he asserted.

The failure of the SPF Government to complete a single project within its stipulated time is a clear manifestation of corruption in public offices which now has become chronic.

He went on to claim that the SPF Government could complete the three Ima Markets and the BT Flyover because of the financial sanction made during the tenure of NDA-led Government at the Centre.

However, none of the projects taken up during the Congress-led Government has been completed, he alleged.

Several multi-crore scandals involving high-ranking Ministers and bureaucrats have been exposed to the whole country by the PAC despite all the efforts of the UPA Government to keep all these scandals under wraps.

Now some of these Ministers and bureaucrats have been booked and many more would be booked in the coming days, the BJP State unit president stated.
