Union Sport Minister coming on April 4

Imphal, April 01 2011:
Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Ajay Maken would arrive at Imphal on April 4 to attend a meeting of the Board of Governors of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) .
He would also interact with sports persons of the State.
Lok Sabha MP Satrughan Sinha would be arriving at Imphal one day ahead of the Sports Minister to attend the same meeting of the Board of Governors.
Ann official source informed that Sports Minister Ajay Maken would land at Imphal at 11 am of April 4 .
From Tulihal Airport, he would go to Secretariat Service Block to attend the scheduled meeting of the Board of Governors of NYKS.
The meeting would be attended by NYKS VC Amardeep Singh Cheema, Lok Sabha MP Madhu Goud Yaskhi, eminent person Sharif Uz-zaman Laskar, Youth Affairs secretary AK Upadhyay, NYKS DG Sailesh, Principal Advisor Anjali Anand Srivastava, eminent person Jagdeep Singh Cheema, NSS programme advisor Sarda Ali Khan, RGNIYD Director P Michael Vetha Siromony and eminent person Satyajeet Sudhir Tambe.
After the meeting, the Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Ajay Maken would launch Youth Employable Skill Project at Kangla Hall.
Later, he would hold a meeting with Chief Minister Okram Ibobi.
On the next day, Ajay Maken would attend a function at B Vengnuom Hall, Churachandpur where he would launch a project on Drugs and Substance Abuse, taken up by NYKS, Manipur.
He would then come back to Imphal and visit Khuman Lampak Sports Complex as well as the National Sports Academy where he would interact with sports persons of the State.
