Talking to media persons there, a spokesperson of the two outfits disclosed that the two parties took serious note of these acts of selling kerosene at a price higher than the specified rate.
He further cautioned that in case these SK oil agents are found defying the parties' instruction again, they would be given fitting punishment.
Directing the agents to pay back the additional price they took from the consumers, the spokesperson asked all agents/shopkeepers selling SK oil at higher price to reduce it at the specified rate.
He further appealed to the public to inform the two parties in case any agent is found selling kerosene at higher price.
They were freed after counselling later.
On alleged charge of selling Kerosene oil to the people at a rate higher than one fixed by the two proscribed outfits, five hawkers have also been pulled up by KYKL and UNLF today.

It is said that among five of them, Brajamani alone is the licensed hawkers, while the remaining four are representatives of two SHGs.
They were allegedly selling the kerosene at the rate of Rs 20 per litre as against the diktat of the two outfits that it should not be more than Rs 14 per litre.
The spokesperson informed that all five of them would be set free after giving proper advice.
But there would be no question of forgiveness in future, if they were found charging more money from the people.
