VOK, VRDF donate 2 Oxygen Concentrators

Voice Of Kakching (VOK) and Volunteers of Disaster Relief Forum (VRDF) jointly donated 2 oxygen concentrators today to DC Kakching, D Gangmei and CMO Kakching, Thoudem Ranjit for use in the Covid Care Centre.
During the programme held at the DC Office, Ksh Surjit, advisor VRDF stated that the Government has initiated various schemes and measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and urged the public to provide their support to the Government to successfully tackle the pandemic.
He mentioned that the oxygen concentrator where provided to aid the difficulties faced by the public due to the lack of oxygen and appealed to the concerned MLAs of the district to extend the number of beds in the Covid Care Centres.
Ksh Surjit also urged the concerned Department to appoint the required number of specialist doctors at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Kakching in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 infections in the district.
DC Kakching, D Gangmei extended his appreciation to VOK and VRDF on behalf of the people of Kakching for their initiative and assistance.
The programme was also attended by District Surveillance Officer, Dr Kiran and representatives of VOK & VRDF.
