Revised timeline issued for action to be taken up by Depts

The state government on Wednesday issued a revised timeline for actions to be taken up by different departments related with release of central shares and matching state shares under Centrally Sponsored Schemes/ Central Sector Schemes/DONER Projects/EAP; societies, companies and other undertakings of the state government; and matters related to works taken-up on the recommendations of the work advisory board.
An office memorandum issued in this regard on Wednesday by chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar stated that certain timelines were given in three OMs for action by departments.
However, due to the imposition of restrictions and 'lockdown' in view of COVID-19 Pandemic, it has been decided that a revision of timeline is necessary for the departments, which have not completed these required actions.
For matters related to the release of central shares and matching state shares under Centrally Sponsored Schemes/Central Sector Schemes/DONER Projects/EAP, the revised timelines are June 10 for finalization of Annual Action Plan and submission to GoI; June 15 for utilization of funds released to departments up to March 31, 2021; June 20 for submission of claim for next/new instalment, along with all relevant documents, to Gol; and June 5 for submission of details of central share and state share of all Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), along with necessary update.
For matters related to societies, companies and other undertakings of the state government, the revised timelines are June 5 for submission of the list and details of societies, companies and other undertakings of the state government; and June 20 for holding first mandatory meeting for FY 2021-22 .
The revised timelines for matters related to works taken-up on the recommendations of the work advisory board are June 20 for finalization of work program and obtaining approval of the work advisory board and competent authority; and last week of June for high-level review meeting to review the work programmes.
The office memorandum further stated that finance department may be constrained to withhold approval to proposals of the departments on failure of timely submission of the requisite information.
