Ema Hospital opens Covid Care Centre

Kakching, May 14 2021:
A Covid Care Centre of Ema Hospital, Kakching has been opened at the Fitness Centre of Kha Manipur College on Friday.
Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar formally opened the Covid Care Centre in a simple function also attended by Kakching CMO Dr Thaodem Rajen Singh, SP Victoria Yengkhom, District Surveillance Officer Dr Kiran Elangbam, Ema Hospital MD L Sotombi Singh, HR N Radhamani and others.
After opening the centre, MLA M Rameshwar said that COVID-19 positive cases in Kakching district are increasing rapidly each day and oxygen is becoming utmost necessary for treatment of patients.
Amidst this situation, it is very fortunate for the people of Kakching district that Ema Hospital has opened a Covid Care Centre with oxygen facility, he said and also lauded role being played by private hospitals in fighting the pandemic.
Rameshwar further said that Kakching district has three centres with oxygen facility and they are Covid Care Centres being opened by the government at Kakching higher secondary school, Covid isolation ward of Jivan Hospital and Covid Care Centre of Ema Hospital.
He further appealed to the people to take utmost care for curbing the second wave of COVID-19.CMO Kakching also described as fortunate for people of Kakching district to have another Covid Care Centre for treatment of COVID-19 patients at a time when positive cases are increasing rapidly.
Ema Hospital HR N Radhamani said that the Hospital is taking the responsibility of fighting the pandemic by opening temporary Covid Care Centre with oxygen facility.
Radhamani stated said that the centre will have 20 beds and treatment of patients will be done at minimal cost.
NECC gives guru tag to eight state artistes Imphal: Many artistes of the state who are associated with different performing art forms have been selected as guru for Guru Shikshya Parampara, which is a scheme taken up by North East Culture Centre, Ministry of Culture.
