TLRF lauds Corona Warrior awardee minister Dikho

The Thadou Linguistic Research Forum (TLRF) lauded PHE, Printing and Stationery minister Losii Dikho, who is also minister in-charge of Kangpokpi and Senapati districts for COVID-19, on being presented the prestigious National Corona Warrior Award recently in the field of social work by the Dalit Sahitya Academy, Manipur.
The Forum compiled a book on 'Thadou Poetry and History' which was published and launched by Dikho on May 4, 2021.Forum secretary Paominlun Lhouvum said: "We are fortunate to have a leader like Minister Losii Dikho who selflessly works for the welfare of the people and he truly deserves the national corona warrior award for he is truly a COVID warrior reaching out to all the people irrespective of caste, creed and religion" .
While extending heartiest congratulations to the Minister on behalf of the forum, Paominlun Lhouvum sought the abundant blessing of the Almighty God on Losii Dikho for his good health and wisdom in the future endeavour.
Considering his achievement, we have decided to make the historic and wonderful moment more meaningful and monumental by providing an English version copy of the "Thadou Poetry and History" to him as a 'gift' to convey our heartfelt happiness on his achievement, Paominlun said.
He also informed that a copy of the same has been presented N Sehjalien Gangte of Gangte Tribe Union, Kangpokpi while stating that the Forum intends to make the book an ambassador for better understanding of culture and tradition, literature, history, etc.
among all tribes and communities in the state.
