MoU for development of science and technology

Institute of Bioresearch and Sustainable Development (IBSD),Takyelpat and National Centre of Cell Study (NCCS), Pune and Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Kerala signed an MoU at lBSD conference hall to collaborate and develop Cell science and technologies.
NCCS director Dr Shekhar C Mande, RGCB director Professor Radhakrishna Pillai, ILS former director Dr B Ravindran and Vijnana Bharati National organisation secretary Jayant Sahasrabuddhe attended the simple MoU signing event.
Speaking at the event, director of IBSD, Professor Dihabandhu Sahoo said that the step would help in developing science and technology in the whole North East.
He further said that various new ventures and initiative would be undertaken with other institutes as well which in turn will be of immense help to the students and scientists.
Dinabandhu also expressed desire to expand and establish other scientific institutions in the State.
Speaking at the event, Radhakrishna Pillai said that the various medicinal plants growing in the State can be utilised for the benefit of the people through proper research.
Dr Sekhar also stressed on the importance of cell and tissue culture in the field of science and technology.
