Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking As�sociation has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister N Biren urging to set a clear boundary lines surrounding Dzuko Valley in order to prevent any untoward incidents.
In a statement, the association said that travelers from Manipur are subjected to harassment by locals residing in and around Dzuko and were detained for almost at Vishwema.
'Mission Clean Dzuko' expedition was flagged off by MAHUD, Forest and Environment Minister Th Shyamkumar on June 4 .
Travellers were harassed by the locals living in and around Dzuko Valley, it said in a statement.
The State Government should look into the matter to ensure Such incident does not recur.
Clear boundary lines should be set between the neighbouring States and motorable road should be also constructed from Imphal to Dzuko Valley.
