B Bongjang village yet to receive relief rice: Village chief

Moreh, April 10 2020:
With the lockdown due to COVID-19 in place, villagers of B Bongjang village are bereft of essential commodities.
Ngamson Baite, chief of the B Bongjang village in Tengnoupal district stated that the villagers are suffering due to the closure of Moreh and other trade centres along the Indo Myanmar border stretch, owing to the Nationwide lockdown.
Apart from it, the village is yet to receive its share of rice announced by the Government, the village chief said, urging authorities concerned to do the needful at the earliest.
