Prior to body discovery, brother appeals for release

Much before the lifeless body of the suspected driver was recovered and worried over continued detention of his younger brother Chinaoshang after he was abducted by some unidentified persons without ever disclosing his whereabouts, PA Zathin of Shongphel village, Ukhrul district has appealed for the safe release of Chinaoshang at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, PA Zathin said that his brother was at a quarrying site at the bed of Shongphel river when he was abducted by some unidentified persons at around 11.30 pm of March 3 this year.
He was supplying shingles/stones for development of Sinakeithel road.
Chinaoshang is a truck driver by profession and he is a married man.
Although it has been more than a month since he was abducted, there is no clue regarding his whereabouts.
After his abduction, a complaint was lodged at Litan police station.
The worried brother then appealed to all concerned to release Chinaoshang safely in the interest of his family which includes small kids.
