Consensus reached on Arsenic Album 30

Putting to rest all the arguments and counter-arguments about the effectiveness of taking Arsenic Album 30 pills as a preventive measure against Swine Flu, Health Minister Phungzathang Tonsing has categorically stated that there is no harm in taking Arsenic Album 30 .
Briefing media persons in the conference hall of Old Secretariat today, Phungzathang Tonsing clarified all the misunderstandings about the effectiveness of Arsenic Album or its applicability against Swine Flu among Health Department officials have been thrashed out.
According to the Health Minister, a joint meeting of the officials of Health Directorate, RIMS, JNIMS, AYUSH and Shija Hospital was held today.
There has been no rise in the figure of Swine Flu cases in the State during the past five days.
Monitoring cells have been already opened at JNIMS and RIMS.
If any person suspects Swine Flu, they may contact the monitoring cells.
"From my personal experience, I know that Arsenic 30 is quite helpful and it does not have any side effects", said the Health Minister.
Another official meeting would be held tomorrow to explore all possible preventive measures.
Phungzathang then appealed to all pharmacists not to sell masks at inflated prices.
MLA Dr Ibohalbi said that people need not be unduly panicky.
Not taking Tamiflu or not using mask does not mean people would get infected by Swine Flu and die.
MLA Dr Ng Bijoy said that people should not be misled by the notion that using masks can prevent Swine Flu infection.
It is quite save to take Arsenic 30.Dr M Nara said that there is no question to the usefulness of taking Arsenic 30 in advance.
He also highlighted the importance of creating extensive awareness about Swine Flu and its preventive measures among the people.
Principal Secretary (Health) Dr Suresh Babu was also present at the press conference.
