First direct MCS officer from Sadar Hills feted

It was a moment of joy and contentment for the people of Sadar Hills and Motbung denizens in particular as T.Lamminlal Simte (27), the first direct MCS officer from Sadar Hills, was felicitated yesterday in a Thanksgiving ceremony organized by the family members at Apex School, Bethlehem Colony, Motbung.
The event was graced by T.Haokip, Pastor, MBC as the Thanksgiving and Blessing Minister.
Kaikhosei Lhouvum, Member, ADC Sadar Hills and Chief of Motbung village; Khammonlal Simte, MCS, AC to DC, Churachandpur; Thangpi Simte, Dy.
Commandant, Churachandpur also attended the function apart from various CSOs leaders, Village Chiefs, Church leaders and leaders of the Simte Tribe.
Son of T.Letkhohao Simte and T.Lhingboi Simte of Motbung village in Sadar Hills's Saitu Gamphazol Sub-Division, T.Lamminlal Simte cleared the MPSC Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination, 2014 and was ranked 9th in general category while 3rd among the Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Peter, Shillong (Class-XII) in 2004, St.
Anthony, Shillong (Graduate) in 2007 and Hindu College (M.Sc.) in 2009, T.Lamminlal Simte has been selected into Manipur Civil Service (MCS).
.TLamminlal Simte served as Probationary Officer in UCO Bank at Delhi and Himachal Pradesh before he got selected as an MCS Officer.
Simte also wrote the Mains Exam of UPSC 2014 recently and is waiting for the result.
Apart from the congratulatory speeches by the dignitaries, T.Lamminlal Simte, who is also the first direct MCS officer from among the Hangnung Phungpi (Eldest of the Simte Tribe) shared about his achievement with the congregation as well.
