Stringent guidelines to follow at Entry Point, Mao Gate: DC

In a bid to checkthe spread of COVID-19 in the second wave, stringent rules have been enforced at Entry Point, Mao Gate, Senapati.
Th Kirankumar, IAS, DC Senapati along with M Pradip Singh, IPS, SP Senapati; medical team led by Dr Pfokreho Pfoze, CMO, Senapati and SDO, Song Song visited the screening point at Mao today.
Speaking to media person, Th Kirankumar stated that the rules are enforced as per the order from the Deputy Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Manipur.
As per the new guidelines, negative result from RT-PCR/TruNat/CB-NAAT COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours from the arrival time of all passengers have been made mandatory.
All Army/CAPF units were instructed to arrange for COVID-19 test of their personnel entering the State.
The visiting team had reportedly asked all law enforcing agencies for strict enforcement of the order.
The enforcement is stated to apply to all truck drivers ferrying essential commodities into the State.
