Imphal, March 27 2012:
The recently declared results of Lower and Upper Primary teachers under SSA is full of errors and hence cannot be enforced and should be invalidated, M Angamba, Vice President, DESAM has demanded.
Addressing a press conference at its office at Keishampat here today, Angamba asserted that the Government of Manipur has recruited teachers by acting against the directives of the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the order of Gauhati High Court for giving preference to BEd certificate holders.
He further stated that the preliminary score of the candidates for the post of Upper and Lower Primary teachers was declared before the final results was out.
There was no mention in the list declared that there will be a separate category for BEd certificate holders.
Moreover, the marks of some candidates who got selected in the final list declared on February 29 are much higher than the marks scored in the results of the preliminary score.
The roll numbers of the candidates whose marks have been increased are Roll number 80817 (62.424 percent as against 52.3 percent), 80703 (64.728 percent as against 52.817 percent), 80372 (62.21 percent as against 52.4 percent), 81086 (62.42 percent as against 59.066 percent) and Roll number 80668 (63.349 percent as against 54.138 percent), Angamba pointed out, adding that these candidates have also not made any complaint in this regard.
All these anomalies clearly showed that the recruitment process of SSA was full of errors which were done intentionally, Angamba contended, and proposed that the declared results should be examined by an autonomous body or Committee.
