Many condole demise of Ima Memchoubi

The Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK) has expressed its deep and profound condolence on the passing of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur (PLMPAM) president Ima Longjam Memchoubi.
Ima Memchoubi passed away on October 1, 2023 .
Members of CCSK, UNACSU, KaPFA, AMYPCO, CHITUWA, NYLAK, KWWA and WWOK observed two minutes of silence to pay respect to the brave leader in a condolence meeting held at CCSK Office, New Checkon.
The gathering also shared the grief of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
Moreover, the Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur (PLMPAM) has also condoled the demise of its founder member and president Ima Longjam Memchoubi.
Extending solidarity to the bereaved family, PLMPAM shared that her demise is a huge loss to the State and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
The National People's Party (NPP), Manipur has also expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Ima Longjam Memchoubi and conveyed that she is a source of inspiration to those who are striving to uplift the moral & social condition of the society.
NPP Manipur also asserted that she was a champion of empowering women in the State and her sense of patriotism & sacrifice for a noble cause will always be cherished by all.
Her death has left a void which will be very hard to be filled by anybody, added NPP Manipur.
The party further extended its deepest sympathy and condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that her soul may rest in peace.
Co-ordinating Body, Khurai and Apunba Nupi Lup Khurai have also condoled the sudden demise of prominent woman activist Longjam Memchoubi.
Members of the organisations shared the grief & pain of the bereaved family and observed 2-minute silence to pay respect to the eminent leader.
Similarly, the Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM), Ojha Sanajaoba Memorial Trust (OSMT), North east Peoples' Organisation (NEPO)- Manipur Chapter, All Community Development Organisation Moreh (ACODOM), Nupi Khunai Chaokhat Lamjing Lup Moreh, Families Committee For The Observation of 13th April and Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) Manipur have also condoled the passing of prominent women activist Ima Memchoubi who worked tirelessly for the betterment of the society and against oppressive regime.
The organisations/ bodies also shared the pain of the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
