Nemcha shortlisted among 5 Indian MLAs

Kangpokpi AC MLA, Nemcha Kipgen, the lone woman MLA in the BJP led coalition Government of Manipur was shortlisted among the top 5 Indian MLAs for setting unique examples during COVID 19 crisis as per the Nationwide research by the Post India.
It may be mentioned that the lone woman MLA was dropped from the Ministerial berth from the BJP Government recently.
The Post India shortlisted her among the top 5 MLAs from more than 4120 MLAs in the entire country who are at the forefront combating the pandemic.
The other MLAs among the shortlisted top 5 are Harsh Sanghavi, Gujarat, Majura (2 times MLA), Eatala Rajender, Huzurabad (4 time MLA), Minister for Health, Medical & Family Welfare, Telangana, ZR Thiamsanga, Mizoram, Champhai North (First time MLA) and Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Andhra Pradesh, Chandragiri, (two time MLA) .
The local bodies of Kangpokpi called on the MLA at her official residential quarter on being shortlisted among the top 5 MLAs in India and presented a traditional shawl as a token of encouragement.
The MLA said that she took the responsibility as a challenge as human lives are more important than anything else.
It is all because of the cooperation and participation of the community that our efforts are recognized, she added.
