Protesting the controversial defeats of Sarita and Devendro at the Asian Games, a young lad, Khangembam Vivek Kumar (23) set afire many Korean DVDs at Majorkhul area.
He had bought the DVDs from different DVD libraries in Imphal.
Many DVDs were reportedly contributed by some libraries.
The young protestor is the son of Kh Raghu of Top Khongnangkhong.
He is also a member of Art Society, Manipur apart from being a painter.
The protest was carried out to condemn the alleged Korean partiality which was clearly visible in the decisions of the bouts.
It was also done to show respect and love for the two magnificent players of Manipur, according to a statement issued by Vivek.
He further asserted that looking at the behaviour of the judges, the ongoing Asian Games should be labelled as Korean games.
"Should we thank God for Mary Kom did not have her final bout with a Korean boxer ?", he questioned.
