Kakching, February 21 2017:
The Kakching Foundation has appealed to all the candidates who are contesting in the coming State Assembly election not to campaign using inflammatory words which could hurt the sentiments and feelings of other candidates, conveyed a press release issued by secretary Kakching Foundation.
The Foundation urged the candidates/parties concerned to instead focus more on the tasks that the candidates would be doing or have completed, during campaigning.
It further urged the candidates and their workers to halt the trend of sticking posters at people's houses and instead use pamphlets and booklets mentioning the party manifesto and vision instead.
Taking into account the students who would be sitting for Class X and XII exams, the Foundation strongly urged the parties concerned not to use loudspeaker at night and suggested public meetings during the day adding that they should strongly stick to the ECI's guidelines.
