Imphal, October 08 2012:
While saluting departed cadres, elders of the party, member parties of CorCom and other revolutionary organisations of Western South East Asia (WESEA) on its 35th Raising Day, the proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAKPro) has reaffirmed its stand to fight against India government and its security forces with new tactics and warfare.
In a statement, Chairman of PREPAK (Pro) Paliba M said that his party will step up its war against security forces under the aegis of CorCom.
He also stated that the central security forces and the state police commandos are no more than a terrorist institution which is more dangerous than the Mafia gangs of drug cartels in Mexico, Columbia and Italy.
The security forces and commandos instead of enforcing law and order are indulging in extra judicial killings.
They can easily kill anybody even in front of their kids and family members without mercy.
The statement further stated that the proposal for peace talks put forward by Governor Gurbachan Jagat and Chief Minister O Ibobi in every function is meaningless until and unless the India government realises its mistake and is ready to amend the mistake of annexing Manipur forcefully.
On the other hand, the Military Civic Action Programme of the Indian security forces is a cover up of the security forces for executing innocent people and grooming their secret assets which they can use against their own people.
Leaving aside the poor people and many underdeveloped places in the mainland, India government is using its financial resources in colonising Manipur with disguises like MCA programmes and Operation Samaritan, the outfit alleged.
In every election, the Congress government led by Chief Minister Ibobi and central leaders of the party has been promising the people to bring about all round development in the state.
Unfortunately, all their promises and assurances vanish into thin air as soon as they got elected.
In its election manifesto, Congress assured peace and stability.
But the peace and stability of the Congress government is nothing but frequent bandh, blockade and general strike in all over the state, the outfit observed.
It went on to say that India has become a place of fake encounters for the last many years.
There were reports of Rashtriya Rifles awarding some selected surrendered people for killing UGs.
NHRC had reported 2560 police encounters from October 1995 to March 2011 and out of the total cases, 1224 were claimed to be fake encounters.
This indicates that every second encounter in the country is fake.
Interestingly, Manipur is in the second spot of fake encounter list after Uttar Pradesh.
It also alleged that security forces are grooming gangs with the sole aim to defame the true revolutionary organisations and instill a sense of hatred and confusion in the mind of innocent people.
The statement further asserted that the democracy system in India is not the perfect image of public rule.
The democracy in the country does not guarantee the freedom of its people even though elections are being conducted to choose public representatives.
Elections in the state are held by manipulating the hardware and software of the EVM by the party in power and along with the help of the security forces, it alleged and quoted statement from 19th Century French philosopher Alexis d' Toqueville's classic 'Democracy In America', "...a democracy can be just as tyrannical as a dictatorship once the voters decide to vote themselves for money from the treasury.
Whatever its virtues, democracy is not freedom" .
The outfit also mocked at the Indian Parliament by describing it as one of the Seven Wonders of the World and observed that in India government can be broken up by issues like disputes over land for building Mandirs and non availability of onions and garlics but not over corruption charges.
It is such a wonder that the more corrupted the government is, there is less chance for the government to fall off.
Lastly, the outfit appealed to the people of the state to extend cooperation in the ongoing revolutionary movement for regaining the lost freedom of Manipur (Kangleipak) .
