Biswajit whips Cong with corruption cane

BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary Thongam Biswajit has stated that corruption and Congress are two sides of the same coin.
He was speaking at the flag hoisting ceremony of BJP candidate in Saikul AC Paojalet Touthang held today at A-Laikot village.
Biswajit said that Congress is a party of corruption as testified by hawking a large number of Government jobs like the last throes of a dying man.
Fixing a price tag for every Government job would make the society sick.
GP Scam is the first corruption scam of Congress party which is now notorious for rampant corruption and their last corruption scam was Wasteland Scam.
Even as the Congress Governments at the Centre pledged to eradicate poverty since around 1974, the poor's population only increased every year.
Poor and educated but unemployed youth of the country have realised that BJP is a far better alternative to Congress party.
That was why, BJP was elected to power in many big States of the country, he said.
"My wife is a Tangkhul from Ukhrul and I used to visit Ukhrul every now and then.
I understand the hardships being endured by hill people.
I'm determined to do something for the hill people", stated the BJP MLA.
The existing road infrastructure of Saikul AC and other basic requirements which are not available clearly prove that the incumbent MLA is not fit to be a people's representative.
The Congress Government led by Chief Minister O Ibobi is unaware of the hardships being endured by people in hill districts.
Even though the Congress party has been in power for the past 15 years, potable water supply schemes have so far covered only 15 per cent of the State's total population.
Biswajit then asked where the annual MLA Local Area Development Fund of Rs one crore each was utilised.
The Chief Minister's claim that he has only Rs 1.15 lakh in his bank account is a blatant lie.
Mr 10 per cent is Ibobi's unchangeable identity, Biswajit said.
Pointing out that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who launched the Start Up programme, the BJP MLA remarked that Ibobi's declaration to generate three lakh jobs for the people of Manipur under Start Up project amounted to announcing that BJP would create as many jobs as required by the people of the State.
Saying that many Government schools are unable to get a single student clear Class X exam, Biswajit questioned whether this is a sign of human resource development.
Flatly rejecting Congress party's claim that BJP is a communal party, he maintained that appointment of a Muslim woman as the Governor and nomination of MC Mary Kom to the Rajya Sabha proved otherwise.
Paojalet Touthang said that he would fight corruption, nepotism and favouritism in case he gets elected apart from promoting communal harmony within Saikul AC.
He further vowed to make PDS items accessible to beneficiaries in the most transparent and accountable manner.
He further listed health care, education, transport infrastructure, creation of employment avenues, eco-tourism and welfare schemes for senior citizens and destitutes as his priority areas.
