KSO organises free medical camp at Govajang Village

Moreh, August 19 2013:
Kuki Students Organization (KSO) Moreh Block organised a free medical camp at Govajang Village for the border fencing affected villages here yesterday.
Around 270 people of villages Thingphai, Volpabung, Nungmalung, Molhpei, Bongjang, N Gmnom, P Layang, Muslim Basti and Chavangphai were given free medical treatment and medicines at free of cost at the camp.
Thangkhongam Mate, President KSO Moreh Block appreciated two doctors S Priyokumar Singh and Kh Shantikumar Singh of Primary Health Centre Moreh and staffs of Medical Department who conducted the free medical camp.
Inconveniences were faced in travelling from village to Moreh during this rainy season.
The Medical Department of the Manipur Government is appealed to make medicines available adequately in its Moreh Hospital, Mate added.
He also stressed that there are still many poor villages around Moreh Town that cannot afford to get medical treatment in private hospital, and also inconveniences are met often when they go to Moreh Hospital as it lacks medicines.
