Imphal, March 27 2018:
CPI National president Atulkumar Anjan today demanded the BJP-led NDA Government to reveal to the public the works it has accomplished during the last four years rather than utilising all their energy in making tall claims.
He was addressing a press conference held today at Manipur State Council, CPI (MSC/CPI), Irawat Bhawan, BT Road here in connection with the party's 22nd State Conference which was held from March 24 to 26 at Irawat Memorial Park, Challou, Imphal East.
Atulkumar who is also the general secretary of All India Kisan Sabha asserted that the NDA Government at the Centre has failed to keep its promises even though it has completed four years in office.
He went to observe that the country is passing through a serious economic crisis.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has claimed that he had brought FDI in the country.
But where is the FDI being used in the country?", he asked.
"There is neither any new big industry nor any significant job opportunities have been created for unemployed youth of the country.
But, corporate houses are only looting money", he added.
He even alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Nodi has been favouring corporate houses at the cost of National wealth by visiting foreign countries.
The CPI National president said that the country has found three new "Modis" during the NDA's present regime and named them as Lalit Modi, Sushil Modi and Nirav Modi.
He characterized Lalit Modi as someone who had taken Rs 20,000 crore from Indian Cricket and stayed in England courtesy Sushma Swaraj.
He further alleged that Sushma Swaraj had asked the Prime Minister of Great Britain through a letter to arrange for Lalit Modi's stay describing him as one ofher good friends.
Although, the Indian coaches asked Sushma Swaraj to bring back Lalit Modi from England, the latter was never brought back, Atul conveyed.
Sushil Modi is a BJP leader and Deputy CM of Bihar who was involved in the Srijan Financial Scam where more than Rs 2000 crore have been looted.
However, no case has been registered against him.
Nirav Modi who looted Rs 23,000 crore from PNB and other Nationalized banks fled from the country with the help ofNarendra Modi, he alleged.
Atulkumar further described Narendra Modi as someone who claims himself as "chaiwala" but has not sold any "chai" for the last forty years.
He maintained that Narendra Modi is playing the sentiments of the people and asked whether there is any 'chaiwala' who wears suits as expensive as Rs 5 lakh.
Pointing out that many farmers and youth who earned MBA, MTech and BTech degrees are committing suicide everyday due to poverty and absence of employment, Atulkumar said that people in Gorakhpur and Phulpur districts of Uttar Pradesh taught a befitting lesson to the BJP led Government in the State by routing BJP candidates in the recently concluded by-election.
He also opined that BJP and NDA's days are numbered while noting that the country's exports have gone down and the imports had grown up in 2016 resulting to 7 billions dollar deficit and lakhs of local artisans in the country suffered due to loss of jobs.
