CM expresses gratitude to donors

Imphal, June 22 2018:
Chief Minister N Biren Singh expressed his profound gratitude to those individuals and organisations which have generously donated to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) to help the flood victims in the State.
Till now, the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) has received a sum of Rs 7,78,250 from various individuals and organisations to help victims of the recent flood in the State.
The Chief Minister also expressed hope that more organisations and people would come forward to help rehabilitate the flood victims.
Hundreds of families are displaced and houses have been inundated by flood due to incessant rain in various areas of the State.
It may be mentioned that the All Manipur Government Aided College Teachers' Association donated Rs 1,00,000, College of Agriculture, Central Agricultural University, Iroisemba donated Rs 1,42,250, Institute of Driver Training and Research Centre, Manipur donated Rs 20,000, Officers of Manipur Police Service donated Rs 1,00,000, Kairang Muslim Group donated Rs 1 lakh, All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union contributed Rs 65,000, Six Emoinu Multipurpose Financial Co-operation donated Rs 50,000, Ch Tomba Singh of Sega Road Enterprises donated Rs 50,000, Rajesh Gupta of RK Enterprises donated Rs 50,000, Soron Ramung of Ramung Enterprises donated Rs 50,000, Laitonjam Jayananda Singh of United Enterprise donated Rs 50,000 and Haripada Das, resident of Agartala, Tripura donated Rs 1000 to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund till date.
In addition, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
in association with All Manipur Indane Distributors' Association (AMIDA) donated 500 numbers of 5-kg Free Trade LPG cylinders worth Rs 6.82 lakh to Chief Minister's Relief Fund for distribution to flood affected families.
