CC Hr Secondary School students feted

Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam said that passed out students can give a positive impact on students and inspire them to become good citizens of the State.
He said alumni should meet and interact with the students to instill a sense of responsibility in them so that they can contribute for the welfare of the school and the society.
The Minister was speaking as chief guest at the felicitation function of students of Churachand Higher Secondary School, who held positions in the recently declared HSLC and HSSLC examination, 2018.The programme was held at the school premises under the sponsorship of the school's alumni of different batches, including the Batch of 1966 .
Th Radheshyam said that it was a laudable moment and a commendable gesture of the alumni to felicitate the students for their achievement and assuring to extend all possible help.
He said the Churachand Higher Secondary School has been one of the pioneering schools in Manipur which has brought an educational revolution with positive changes in the State.
He stressed that the time has come to revive the relationship between teachers and students while adding that there is the need to restore the sense of human touch among the teachers and students like in the past where they had a close bonding.
He said such attachment need to be revived again to make schools become more attractive to children and convinced them with the sense of belongingness towards the school as their second home.
The programme was attended by Director Education Th Kirankumar, Principal, teachers and students of the school.
