A delegation of the JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO led by its president Dr M Rajendra, senior vice-president B Ghana-shyam Sharma, secretary general Purujit Lairikyengbam secretary administration RK Basumani, secretary finance T Joy Kom and secretary publi-city L Kuber Meetei partici- pated in the 15th National Conference of All India State Govt Employees' Federation (AISGEF) which was held at Zirekpur, Chandigarh from December 20 to 23 .
During their stay in Delhi, they submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Naren- dra Modi highlighting various issues pertaining to public, employees, pensioners and workers.
At the National conference, the JAC placed all the issues like incomplete implementation of the 6th Pay Commi- ssion, disparities, irregularities in payment of DA/DR, demands for implementation of the 7th Pay Commission in all States from its exact date of effect, regularization of work-charged, muster rolls, contract, part-time and casual employees.
Stress was given to safeguard the interest of Government employees in particular and the working class at large against the onslaughts unleashed by the ruling class.
The conference demanded the Government to reverse the anti-people policies so that the Government employees in particular and all working people in general.
JAC secretary general Purujit Lairikyengbam has been elected as the National secretary of AISGEF at the National conference, added the statement.
