Free health camp conducted at Jiribam

Jiribam, October 16 2019:
A one-day free medical camp of AYUSH jointly organized by Jiri Development Organisation (JDO); Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL) and United People Front (UPF), Imphal was held at Sorok Atingbi High School, Sorok Atingbi Khunou in Jiribam since morning today during which about 150 persons were provided free medical services.
Regarding the medical camp, W Dinesh Meitei, Gen Secy, JDO said that the medical camp was conducted to provide free medical services to needy and poor people and also to make aware the students of the school about the benefits of healthy living.
He also appreciated the Director of AYUSH for sending doctors and staff of Directorate of AYUSH in the medical camp.
N Rupachandra, VP, UPF said that UPF has been continously organizing free medical camp in different parts of Jiribam in the past many years and will continue to do so in future.
One of the patients who availed the medical services in the camp, N Sadananda expressed happiness for conducting such free medical camp in Jiribam and lauded the doctors and staff for giving treatment and advice.
Dr S Bishwanath Sharma, Deputy Director (AYUSH); Dr Ch Ronibala, Homoeopathy Physician; Dr H Brainy, Apprentice (Homeopathy); Dr L Suraj Sharma, Apprentice (Ayurvedic); Y Shantikumar Singh, Pharmacist (Homeopathy); S Biswanath Meitei, Pharmacist (Homeopathy); O Joyenba Singh, Staff Nurse took part in the medical camp.
