Imphal, November 05:
Proscribed Kuki outfit, Kuki National Front (KNF) has warned all those responsible for disruption of smooth transport along the National Highway 39 by torching vehicles and kidnapping drivers to surrender or else face heavy penalty.
In a statement, information and publicity secretary of the outfit LH Stephen categorically stated that no organisation or any UG group should carry out any activities that can harm the peaceful atmosphere within the operational area of KNF without prior consent of the outfit.
Anyone who defy the restriction would be awarded capital punishment, Stephen warned.
Those who are responsible for burning of a Tata truck near Changoubung on November 3 have also been asked to surrender or clarify themselves through media at the earliest.
Failure to do so would entail inviting themselves capital punishment if KNF caught them, Stephen further cautioned.
