TCEC also discouraged the designated Christian workers and Church leaders from involving in any election related activity.
Candidates or its workers should refrain from divisive propaganda, undue canvassing, character assassination, hate messages and publicity, exposing unfriendly personal details, violence, kidnapping, life-threatening activities, booth capturing, use of forces, soliciting the support and using the name tag of any external forces and gangs for wielding public support, blocking of roads, harassing and attacking of families, destruction of property (public and private), feasting and other fraudulent acts, TCEC said.
Respect and dignity must prevail in the district in order to conduct the election peacefully.
TCEC said that the so called "strength show" on the pretext of blessing and prayer programmes should be discouraged because often Christian ministers are utilized which misinterpreted the principles of Christianity.
Proxy-voting is morally wrong and should be avoided.
Any divisive acts like vote declaration, secret deals, agreements with selective individual, clansmen or others are discouraged.
TCEC also urged individual, groups and villages not to seek the favour of the intending candidates even before being elected.
Consumption and use of alcohol and establishment of election camps will disturb the fragile social situation.
Therefore, such activities should be kept to minimum, TCEC said.
