ZSUM felicitates students

Zeliangrong people settled in Manipur are inalienable and inseparable parts of the State, stated Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam.
Gaikhangam was speaking as a chief guest at a felicitation function of Zeliangrong students who have cleared civil services exams and other outstanding achievers in different fields.
The felicitation function held at Langol Tarung was organised by Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur.
To protect the integrity of Manipur, all communities should be always prepared to face all kinds of challenges posed by external forces, Gaikhangam exhorted.
He noted that Zeliangrong people have made significant contribution for the cause of Manipur.
He also appealed to all the achievers and toppers to propel Manipur on a higher trajectory of development.
Later, gifts were presented to 17 Zeliangrong men and women who have been selected as IAS, IPS, MCS, MPS, Junior MCS, MFS, and Election officers and other outstanding achievers in different fields.
The function was presided by Hill Areas Committee Vice Chairman Z Kikonbou.
