Army recruitment rally held at Senapati

The Army recruitment rally conducted in Senapati district of Manipur saw a record turnout of 16000 youth participating fervently in the hope of finding employment in the ranks of the Army.
The colossal response of the populace strappingly asserts the growing aspirations of the youth to fasten together with the mainstream of the country, and of them being weary to the face of insurgency.
The enthusiasm with which the youth participated in the recruitment rally is of note and depicts the changing perception of the environment towards the mainstream.
It gleams at a responsive youth who are yearning to take on opportunities of employment and looking forward for development and peace in the region.
Though as many as 500 candidates have been short-listed for the subsequent rounds of recruitment this time, the people of Senapati are yearning for similar recruitment rallies being organised more often.
They have maintained that such drives would augment the opportunities of employment of their youth and avert them from being disillusioned and going off track.
Maj Gen Binoy Poonen, GOC 57 Mountain Division, pleased at the astounding response of the youth to the rally, has complimented the people of Senapati ,civil administration, civil police, participants and 59 Mountain Brigade for the peaceful conduct which steered the largest ever rally conducted in Manipur.
He also commended the Recruiting Staff for conducting the recruitment rally in a fair, professional and peaceful manner.
He maintained that similar employment opportunities will be extended to the youth of Manipur with a view to tap matchless human resources of Manipur.
Col VS Yadav and Col A Tomar, were very happy to see the overwhelming response of the youth of Manipur.
They on behalf of Army Recruitment Organisation extended their gratitude to people and administration of Senapati for their generous support throughout the rally.
The recruiting officers furthered the awareness campaign in the Schools and Churches to garner publicity. The incident free rally epitomizing the warmth and affection bestowed by people of Senapati, has indeed carved a heartwarming and nostalgic moment for the army and the youth who participated in the recruitment.
People of Senapati came forward to provide basic amenities to the children who came from all over Manipur irrespective of the tribal diversity.
It was astounding to take notice of local vendors who kept their shops open even on Sunday to extend their support to the children coming from far flung areas of Manipur.
