Chief Minister inaugurates women market at Tamenglong and Senapati

Everyone remember how Nagaland rejected construction in memory of Rani Gaidinlui however, we show our respect to our freedom fighter by constructing her statue at Imphal .
Chief Minister, N.Biren Singh today inaugurated two women market sheds at Tamenglong and Senapati district head quarter.
The two market sheds are among the 6 market sheds assured in all the 6 major hill districts of the state by N.Biren Singh led government after his government came to power on March 15, 2017 .
Inaugurating the Rani Gaidinlui Market at Tamenglong district , the Chief Minister while appreciating the people of the district for the support and belief to the government led by BJP, said that on November 15 our government was given a warm reception programme .
On that day the Chief Minister had announced to build Khongsang road and also to provide water supply.
Speaking on the occasion N.Biren expressed his understanding about the problem of the Tamenglong district.

"I appreciate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's respect for Rani Gaidinlui", Biren said and recalled the Prime Minister's announcement to build a Museum in memory of Rani Gaidinlui at Kohima.
"Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sanctioned a huge amount for construction of a Museum in memory of Rani Gaidinlui at Kohima, we all remember the objection for the construction in the name of Rani Gaidinlui on the ground that Gaidinlui was not from Nagaland", Biren recalled.
The Chief Minister further added that his government has constructed a statue of the Freedom Fighter at Imphal and now a market shed in her memory.
Inaugurating the Women Market Shed at Senapati N.Biren said, "On April 16 , 2017, people of Senapati organised a warm reception programme and on that day we assured many things that will take forward the people of Senapati", the Chief Minister said adding that his government will built trust with the people by converting the promises and assurance into reality and not merely by lop service.
"Today our government came to hand over the Women Market (APPI SALIKI) that I, on behalf of my government had assured, Our government will hand over other constructions like 100 bedded residential schools and temporary government quarters for employees before the announcement of code of conduct of the upcoming state assembly election", Biren said.
" My greatest fear is the lost of trust by the people and for that we delivered what we said and promised", the Chief Minister said adding that as for the Water Supply reservoir the government will not be able to inaugurate it before the 2019 Parliamentary election as it cost over Rs.36 crore.
.NBiren Singh however assured that the Water Reservoir of the Senapati district will be inaugurated after the parliamentary election.
