Public support will bridge gap of misunderstanding with law enforcer says SP, Ukhrul

Superintendent of Police, Ukhrul Worngam Ningshen while speaking at the ocassion of Ukhrul district Police Annual Day Observation said that the goodwill support of the public will bridge the gap of misunderstanding with law enforcers and will ensurejustice for all.
He continued that the support of the public will further strengthen the relationship of Civil Societies Organization and the Police Department at great length for lasting peace in the district.
W Ningshen also highlighted the objective of celebrating police annual day and said that it is time to cheer, rejuvenate and recommit themselves for dedication towards their services for the people.
He said, "It is a duty bound services with many challenges and their dedication towards the service is greatly needed to fulfill the expectation of the public".
Ukhrul District police for the first time observed the annual day at reserve line, Phungreitang Ukhrul and was graced by UADC Chairman Dickson Kamkara, Councilor, officer from 6th MR, Social organization leaders and pastors.
Ringthing Hongchui SDPO, Ukhrul in his welcome address said that such event will improve the relationship of the Civil Societies Organizations and the police department as it provides a platform for cordial interaction.
As an encouragement for their services, awards for best camper, best attendance and most dutiful police were distributed by UADC Chairman to the police personnels during the function.
Musical performances from local artists Nimshimphi, Yursari, Oshin, feather head and Meiphung film and production mesmerized the gatherings while the VDF personal enthralled the audience with mimicking act.
