Three more test positive

The total number of COVID-19 active cases in the State is now 29 (general population 24 and Central security personnel 5) after three persons were tested positive at Imphal West and Shija Hospital during the last 24 hours.
According to a press release issued by Additional Director (Health) and COVID-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang, the three persons who have been tested positive are residents of Imphal East (1), Imphal West (1) and Kangpokpi (1) .
With no report of COVID related death during the last 24 hours, the death toll remains unchanged at 373 .
Meanwhile, two COVID-19 positive people were discharged during the last 24 hours from home isolation.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,335 (general population 25,897 and Central security personnel 3,438) .
It includes 28,933 recovered cases (general population 25,504 and Central security personnel 3,429) .
The recovery rate as on Sunday is 98.62 per cent.
On the other hand, 1085 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 yesterday, taking the cumulative figure to 81,251 .
Of all the people who have been vaccinated so far, 31,140 are health care workers.
