Zeliang to attend meet on Naga accord in Manipur

In a first of its kind move, representatives from all the Naga villages in Manipur will meet at Tagaramphung village, also called Yaikongpao, near the Senapati district headquarters on October 19 to deliberate on the “historic Indo-Naga Framework Agreement, land and village administration and the political situation that is confronting the present State of Manipur”.
Functionaries of the village authorities from over 800 Naga villages in Manipur will participate in the event which has been christened as the First Conference of the Naga Village Authority of South Nagalim. The programme is being organised by the United Naga Council (UNC). Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang will be the chief guest and Naga Hoho president Chuba Ozukum will attend the programme as the guest of honour.
