Youth Reformation Program at Srila Sripada Educational and Research Center
- Date : 30 May 2013 -
Dear parents and teachers,
On behalf of Srila Sripada Educational and Foundation and Research Center, I would like to introduce you to our youth reformation Program held at our Juvenile Reformationn Centre that will commence in May 2013, for students from grades 7 to 10. This full-board program is designed to help students who face challenges in their personal lifestyle improve their character and behaviour, improve their studies, as well as give up undesirable habits, acquired through negative association. These include gambling, unruly behaviour, and the consumption of intoxicants such as tobacco, alcohol and narcotics, as well as other substance abuse.
From our observation and research of the various of high schools in imphal, we have found that the attendance of students habituated in such practices is often irregular and their presence in school results in anti-social incidents that disrupt the orderly operations in school. Given the tight constraints in meeting the demands of the curriculum, their teachers are at their wits end and are unable to deal effectively nor appropriately with these students in terms of providing the necessary pastoral care and guidance needed. In addition, most parents are also unaware of their children’s truancy. Therefore, we feel that it is essential to address the issue before it exacerbates.
The youth Reformation Program at the Juvenile Reformation Centre will not only include positive discipline and health routine for the students to follow, but also full-time classes covering the full syllabus content (BOSEM,CBSE, etc ) and even fill the gap which these student have fallen behind over the academic year. In this way, upon completion of the program, they would be able to continue in their present classes alongside their peers, without any loss of material covered.
Through a holistic approach, they will be nurtured and supported in abandoning their undesirable lifestyle and / or habits, under the loving guidance and watchful eye of our team of qualified teachers, whose experience range between 5 to 40 years, and who hail from the best schools in Manipur. In addition, the students will have individual session with our professional counsellor throughout the duration of the program.
We are pleased to inform you that we will be accepting the inaugural batch of student on 30 May 2013. The school and boarding facility is located in the lush and natural beauty of the foothills of Kairangthen, Sinam, Imphal East, and the program will last until 31 August 2013.
To ensure that your children received the maximum attention, space for the programs limited to 40 students. For more details on registration and other program details, please call Ajit Das at 09436027881. Together we can make a difference in the lives of our children, the future of our society.
