Vested interest groups vitiated communal harmony in Manipur: Ibobi

The chief minister who was concern over the prevailing turmoil situation of the state, said that the notion of harmonic living among the different communities have been badly degraded owing to the consistent influences from vested interest groups. The relationship among various communities have been vitiated by vested interested individuals in the recent pass to further their own agenda, he worried and called upon individuals, academicians, experts, social workers, etc. to suggest the government in finding a way to resolve this degrading value living together in harmony.
He said, “I would like to emphasize that in a democratic set-up, like ours, there is enough space for all of us to express our concerns and grievances” and added that the burning down of government properties as an expression of discontentment is an extremely wrong approach which people should avoid.
