Ulfa-Manipuri rebel nexus surfaces
Seven Sisters Post | Guwahati (Sept 9):
Assam Police has claimed that there are leads thrown up by investigations into Saturday evening’s blast at Paltan Bazar that the attack could be the handiwork of a joint group of Ulfa and Manipuri militants.
“Investigation is still on. We have some leads which indicate that it could be a handiwork of Ulfa and Manipuri militants. Ulfa commander Nayan Medhi is suspected to have led the attack,” IGP (central and western range) GP Singh said.
