Training Programme at DM Community College, Imphal

Wishing a very happy & prosperous New Year 2019 to all, the Dhanamanjuri Community College extends a new year free gift to all the undergraduate science students who are currently pursuing BSc degree in any nearby colleges by announcing the commencement of additional hands on training programme (short term add on course) under the STAR COLLEGE Scheme of the Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India which is starting from the 7th January 2019 in the skill based job oriented practical classes leading the following job roles under the National Skill Qualification Framework(NSQF):
1. Healthcare Sector:
a) Computer Radiography
b) Advance X-ray & ECG
c) Distillation Plant
d) Tissue Processing
2. Food Sector:
a) Indigenous Food Processing
b) Bakery & Allied Food Processing
3. Media Sector:
a) Photography & Animation
b) Mobile Apps & Networking
The equipment/labs which are being developed at the Dhanamanjuri Community College under the Star College Scheme are of the latest state of the art versions which are designed for suitability of working in any industry & research.
Students may take the opportunities for exploring the scientific world of the new equipment by joining the training programmes which are scheduled in the morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. & evening from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. without affecting their normal classes and gather extra knowledge which are not available in the normal syllabus & curricula.
The last date of submission is 5th Jan 2019. As there is only a limited number of seats, the admission will be done on the first come first serve basis. However, the preferences may still be given to those who can manage time for joining the sessions regularly and accordingly assessed under the respective sector skill councils for qualifying the specific job roles.
