Top NSCN leaders conference at Dimpaur
Nagaland Post | Kohima, Nov 3 (NPN) –
Top leaders of NSCN (I-M) and GPRN/NSCN met at Oriental Theological College at Bade Village, on the outskirt of Dimapur under the initiative of Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) Saturday. The closed door meeting among both factions of the NSCN leaders was possible a year after both signed the Naga Concordant on August 26, 2011.
The source described the meeting as “positive” but refused to divulge what was deliberated within “closed doors.” However, the source revealed that the leaders exchanged ideas and kept each other abreast of the current negotiations with the government of India. Both sides were understood to have exchanged the necessity to usher transparency in their negotiations with the government of India.
