The Frozen Words
Omila Thounaojam *
Emptiness and darkness
the great force and the deadly pull
Words so deceitful and lame to use
no excuses made and remade all through
tough choices in life and lost wisdoms all inside.
Have never thought thoughts could be the fraud
light spent dulled sense making no sense
the best is this there's no regret
life's bubbles float and do keep on bursting
thin air thinner are its contains.
Disappear like the simple bubble
may be this is not the truth
lies sometimes are sweeter than bitter in taste
somebody claims words do not convey what it says
not even close to the way dictionary says.
Hideous isn't it… I must confess
Dear listen to those silences that my unspoken words convey
Don't you get it?
Life's to be drunk full
Words must be stirred closely
Preserve it if needed be.
Let me play this game
inspired by feelings and desires plain
let me have frozen words stored in secret
inside the chambers of my heart
to be defrosted when needed to be
just for you my dear.
