If we feel that there needs a change then, we should try to renovate our values and styles by making ourselves aware about the extraordinary abilities in ordinary people i.e. 'we' only. However, the first question I want to let plunge into your pocket full of stereotypes and illusions is, "Can you define the 'we' and your identity?" Definitely, now, you are in confusion because the issues related to the probable answers are very enigmatic.
You are not sure about your identity, culture, religion, language…. Which at the end present us An Enigmatic Society -the unwanted gift-. All the existing disciplines assert and accept the philosophy of "cause and effect". We the people of all generations know it.
Then, for a bright future, let us look back to our past to know about what caused our present scenario and let us learn from the mistakes we made. Let us rename our society by bringing back our identity. Our identity is with us and within us; we ourselves are the one who do not allow it to come into existence.
Our mental state is in conflict; our hidden intrinsic assets and the mental shoe (this is the only shoe with which people step into sacred laisang, strange?) that we wear under the gradual influence of the neighbours are in conflict. This must be the main cause behind our social unrest and arrested development.
Let us have a dip-bathe in the Loktak of our original values and see our future with a new insight. Our present is not the present of the world that surrounds us. We are too much behind, my dear all, let us think and work together towards development otherwise, we will not only lose our identity forever, we will be called bumpkins of the bumpkins.
Wake up! Ask yourself.
Who are you?
Who are we?
Why are we using "Singh" in our name?
What is its meaning?
How it links with your language and religion?
Would anyone tell me?
Alternatively, would anyone explain the reason to the children, youngsters and the mass? This example is just a water-tub from the sea of preventable owning and borrowing things. Why do we own 'things' that belongs to other ethnicity despite knowing that we have our own language, script, culture and religion?
We should respect our national language and other communities. However, at the same time we should not be away from the responsibility to protect and preserve 'ours'. Adaptation is a natural phenomenon, agreed, but we should take care about its severity, history records the wipeouts of many assets by this process in many lands.
What is the thing we do not have? Our ancestors have given everything. However, now, our society seems like a barren. We let the time to snatch them away, and that time was created by us only. Whom do we blame? Obviously, time is the only left one, we know that time cannot make any avenge. We ruined our assets and we are the sufferers.
Nevertheless, the perplexity that calls our attention is that neither any group nor we ourselves have gained from what we lost. Did anyone? Any endeavour to explore answer to this question will end up with nothing. This issue is curiosity provoking one with no end.
With this issue, we can effort a constant progress of no end -development-. We can rebuild our identity and maintain it. Even this non-living stuff called computer can recover lost or damaged files and convert temporary documents into permanent documents then, why cannot we? We the human beings made that box and we are the most intelligent creatures. My dear Kanglei fellows, we are very backward in all spheres and especially in the field of Information Technology, which is now the breathing of this planet. Let us stand firm with our identity and advance towards civilization.
Analyse 'self', analyse the society and its status. Let us unite not to bring sea of masses and air of voices, but to bring compatible thoughts and creative ideas and step forward for 'success'. Nothing succeeds like success.
The world is not considerate to consider our problems; they are engaged in competition with their rivals. Let us make ourselves competitive and catch their attention.
My dear unworthy politicians, idle academicians, immature parents, directionless youths, how do you do?
Oh please, I don't want to hear your answer, "I am fine".
You are using this three-stuff sentence profoundly from your convent education. Please look at the respective ideal values of your profession and responsibilities. You are unable to find your identity and, the image of your identity is diminishing.
You are making a frown gesture at me because, in your eyes, I am talking as if you don't know anything. No dears, actually, the time needs your knowledge in action. You can do it; it is just a step behind. It will be successful.
Success does not count full accomplishment; it counts each and every progress, even failures in the line of development. If you continue the way you are, then, the obscure identity will become temporary and temporary will become…………………..
You better knows about what will come. Remember, it will be y/our future!
