K. Radhakumar *
A waking dream of early morning
Has withered away into a nightmare,
A life worse than being dead is no more.
Alas, the horizon is not a rainbow of bright colours.
I have met a woman of great beauty
Along the westbound track
When I have been riding off at a gallop
In my favourite pony black in colour.
Company of a wasted journey!
Alas, the horizon is not a rainbow of bright colours.
One afternoon in autumn
I overhear somebody say
A man has a life to live in the end;
The other day he has been found
Fast asleep without even dreaming.
Alas, the horizon is not a rainbow of bright colours.
