Technical meet for capacity building on energy efficiency for Manipur MSME units
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) along with Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is implementing a project on “Market Transformation and Removal of Barriers for Effective Implementation of the State-Level Climate Change Action Plans” with an overall goal to increase awareness, scientific knowledge, technical and institutional capacities in the energy sector for implementation of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy mitigation strategies in Manipur.
In this regard, support is being provided to 120 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to identify and implement the energy efficiency and renewable energy measures in their units and reducing their carbon footprint. Your support has been instrumental in implementing these activities on the field.
Taking this initiative forward, a technical meeting was held on 18th February 2021 at Hotel Classic to share our findings with other MSMEs and sensitize other similar MSME units on the importance and benefits of adoption of clean energy technologies.
