Swu health cloud on Naga accord
The Telegraph | H. Chishi | Kohima, June 22 :
The final agreement between the Centre and the NSCN (I-M) remains uncertain as the condition of the outfit's chairman, Isak Chishi Swu, is deteriorating. A senior functionary of the group said Swu had been hospitalised in New Delhi and till he recovers, the agreement will not be finalised.
Swu had signed a framework agreement with the Centre on August 3 last year from his hospital bed. Sources said members of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM), led by Swu and general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah, were worried about the health of their chairman who is also the president of the Government of the People's Republic of Nagalim (GPRN).
