Stop using Myanmar Nagas as 'porters': GPRN/NSCN asks NSCN (K)

GPRN/NSCN has asked NSCN (K) to stop using Nagas in Myanmar as “porters” and forced labourers and stated that Nagas have been forced to carry “baggage” for several armed groups from Manipur and Assam without payment under alleged directive of chairman Khaplang.
In a statement, GPRN/NSCN MIP said that with the signing of the cease-fire between Nagas and the Myanmarese government, the Nagas who were made to live as second class citizens have got an opportunity to catch up with the outside world ending decades old conflict.
