State BJP leaders meet Union Minister Civil Aviation at Delhi on July 16 2014
Today (July 16, 2014) at 4 pm, Manipur State BJPs' delegates led by Shri Th. Chaoba Singh, State President, Shri Asnikumar , Shri Bashanta Sharma, State General Secretaries, Shri Haokholet Kipgen, former Minister and Shri Sushildro, active member held meeting with Union Minister Civil Aviation Shri Ashok Ganapati Raju at his Office Chamber, Safdujung New Delhi.
The meeting was lasted about 40 minutes. The State delegates highlighted various important issues on Aviation sector in Manipur like demands for immediate restoration Imphal- Silcher flights .
And demand for increasing of flight baggage allowances from 15 kgs to 25 kgs for all Imphal Bound Flights which cause great hardship to the common passengers particularly Students communities of the State who are travelling in the route to and fro in the Imphal-Delhi, Imphal-Kolkatta, Imphal-Guwhati sectors due to minimum flight baggage allowances.
The minister listened to the State delegates carefully and admitted the grievances raised by State BJP delegates. Also, in presence of the state visiting delegates, The Minister call on concerned officials and instructed to expedite the points raised by State delegates on priority basis.
