Shiroy Lily
Jagadish Brajabaacy *
Like a gem of Asia
Miss Shiroy Lily shines bright
On the gentle slopes of the Shiroy Hills
Catching the fancy of the world.
What a dinner for our eyes
Watching her dance to the sound of wind
Reminding the entire world
Of the ills of the Trozan war.
Clothed in mist
From head to foot
She acts dumb
When by aliens wooed.
Married to solitude
She feigns illness
When by aliens touched
With their lustful eyes.
From among the aliens
One, Paris by name, wishes
She'd be a Helen
Sans a wooden horse.
Then she shams dead
Lest she'd be the cause
For a new Trozan war
With Menelaus chasing her.
