Salvation Army official implicated 'fund embezzlement' case

An official of a destitute home alleged two officials of Salvation Army (SA) for conspiring with manager and assistant manager of a nationalize bank in tempering, manipulating and falsifying operators of bank account of a destitute home in Manipur’s Churachandpur district, in a case lodged with the police.
The officials were implicated in a case (FIR no. 109(10) 2012 of Churachandpur PS under section 161/162/163/164/447-A/409/120-B of IPC) registered with the Churachandpur police station on Monday (October 8) lodged by superintendent K Lalbiaksanga of management board of destitute home, Moulvaiphei of Churachandpur district. The case was related with the objection given in the withdrawal of Rs 16,01,550 sanctioned in favour of the destitute children home for its maintenance by the assistant manager Jotin Singh of UBI Churachandpur branch.
